4-cprc (also called C10H13NO2 , 2-amino-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-propanone and bk-PMA is a potent substituted cathinone simulant. It is classed among the amphetamines, and shares many of their effects, though it has as of yet not been extensively studied on any formal level.
4-cprc is an SNRDA (serotonin-norepinephrine-dopamine releasing agent) which can be expected to have hallucinogenic and euphoric effects in vivo. It has an identical chemical formula to 3,4-Dimethoxyphenethylamine, 2,3-Methylenedioxyamphetamine and 3,4-Methylenedioxyamphetamine, though of course it has important structural differences. These are all powerful psychostimulents, enactogens and psychedelics, and 4-CPRC can be expected to behave in much the same way.
While 4-cprc is not widely illegal, it is a very close analogue to MDA, which is widely banned as a recreational drug. Care should be taken when ordering in regions which extend bans to close chemical analogues.
4-cprc is sold as a research chemical only, and it should not be taken internally or even handled by untrained personnel or be stored outside of a secure laboratory environmen
